Crosssroads picked out execellent towns for our overnights on this 6 day tour. The trail is packed gravel. A significant amount of the trail is shaded.

Luke, Mark and Dennis did an excellent job handling logistics before and during our wonderful adventure on the Katy Trail. The lodging accommodations were comfortable and often presented an opportunity to gain a very interesting historical perspective. The included meals were superb. The dinner recommendations were wonderful and presented opportunities to explore some old world cultural cuisines. In general Crossroads did a wonderful job with SAG support during the ride. There were a couple of longer ride segments when it would have been helpful to have had access to restroom facilities a little sooner. I don't have a specific recommendation for improving this aspect, but I am sure Luke the planner can come up with some ideas to address this point. This is a fantastic adventure that every gravel rider should experience.

We had an amazing time riding the Katy Trail - all beautifully organized by Crossroads. Prior to the trip we got a super cool customized planner with each day shown in detail along with all the options for sightseeing and dining along the way. All of the inns and hotels were excellent and prepared to take care of cyclists.
